Pappu can dance... Also can act: Jaane tu ya Jaane Na

Today I saw this movie called, "Jaane tu Ya Jaane Na" . To begin with, I think the director (Abbas Tyrewaala -1st movie) wanted this movie to make an extremely simple love story. And that seems to be the flaw of the movie! Too Simple! Not too well defined characters. I think he expects the viewer to assume and complete the characterization on their own! Don't think the movie is a total waste of time! The movie was made with sincere intentions by its team and there are some really good moments too. Some of the jokes were really rib tickling and humourous. To certain extent, he could successfully create a goody goody modern day age single mom and other parents well. The other characters like the friends were not really explored! And Aditi's brother was big question mark! What was he doing? He suddenly appears in the movie and disappears... Leaves a lot of question marks! and Aditi's finace was also not well sketched! Seemed waste.. A very expected storyline.. so don't expect much. Genelia was refreshingly different! For a change I liked her! Gosh she was a torture in "Bommarillu". The only well sketched characters were that of Jai and Meghana. Meghana lives in a fantasy world and knows that she is not ready to face the reality. Jai was well defined... Soft, sober, lovable, self involved, cute and Non Violent! I could instantly relate to him! Wow.. Kudos to the Director for braving to create and explore this in a lead character! Good Job...

Irfan Khan, My pappu can definitely act and Dance! His talents need to be explored! Only irritating fact about him is he is too chocolaty, looks like he is still wet behind his ears! Couldn't look at him for long! Yuck!!!! Reminded me of milk... No idea why?? :)

Genelia was good, natural and beautiful! Must act more in hindi movies...

Over all, a fair movie, don't expect much... much like the pop corns!

Hmm.. in the complete blog, one line worth reading is "A very expected storyline.. so don't expect much". The other lines are merely unique and holds the same old database from different websites!

Sorry, but this is my feeling!

Anyway, well written! Both the movie and your blog!

My dear Santosh

Looks like you were caught in a "Unique" dilemmatic situation of expressing your confused feelings while not hurting me!!! LOL I still couldn't believe when I read your comment.
First of all, thank you for taking time out to read and comment on my my Blog.
When there is only one line worth reading in the blog.. why do you end by saying, quote unquote "Anyway, well written! Both the movie and your blog!"
Pity Praise I DON"T NEED ANY.

If the other lines are unique, why do you write back saying " holds the same old database from different websites! "
Then according to yourself, I am no longer unique, yet unique... Paradox? No ways.. You are confused...

Why are you sorry about your feelings? Well, I am not sorry about expressing my feelings or reading what you have written!

Unfortunately, you ended by saying 2 things: Bad Blog!!! Well written.

Next time, review your comments
carefully, before publishing!

What do you want to say? or are you still confused about what to say??? Hahahahah

Chao!

Yeah you are right about the partially complete sketches & plots, but i think its high time the Indian audience become more intelligent.

Rather than a Voice Over giving out the plot, it would be better off to leave parts of plots half baked for the audience to imagine.
